ABSTRACT |
High temperature thermal treatment has been conducted for disposal of a great deal of sludge generated from sewage treatment plants. This study includes pyrolysis experiments in the range of 700 — 1000 C for a possibility of energy recovery, viscosity measurements of slag to determine optimal conditions in a melting system for treatment of ash generated from sewage sludge, and slag leaching test for environmentally safe reutilization of slag generated from melting of ash which is residue of incineration of sewage sludge. |
